A world-renowned expert in the field of international education and global mobility, Rebecca has also raised her own three children between the U.S. and overseas. Married to a career diplomat in the American diplomatic service, she herself has lived the complexities faced when relocating a family to a new country and a new culture, and has also endured two separated assignments. Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in International Studies and a B.A. in German from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. She earned her teacher's certification and Masters of Education (M.Ed) from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia, and her Certificate in College Counseling from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) Extension. In addition to her native United States, she has lived in Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Portugal, Jordan, Oman (twice) and the United Arab Emirates. She speaks Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, French, and German. She is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association; the National Association of College Admissions Counselors; and the Overseas Association of College Admissions Counselors.
